1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting an estimate, scheduling a consultation, or engaging our home services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the website and do not request or commission services. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the website following an update may constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Website Information and Estimates
Information, service descriptions, calculators, project examples, estimated costs, measurements, timelines, photographs, and other content published on this website are provided for general guidance only. Online estimates and preliminary assessments do not constitute a final quotation, structural assessment, professional engineering opinion, insurance advice, or a binding agreement. A binding service obligation arises only after the applicable scope of work, pricing, materials, schedule, and other terms have been confirmed in a written agreement.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your property and requested project. You are responsible for informing us of known defects, hazardous materials, structural concerns, hidden utility or service lines, access restrictions, and other conditions that may affect the work. You must provide reasonable access to the property at agreed times and take reasonable steps to secure pets, valuables, and personal belongings before work begins.
4. Property Permissions and Approvals
Where required, you are responsible for obtaining permissions, landlord approvals, homeowners' association approvals, permits, or other third-party consents necessary for the requested work, unless responsibility for obtaining such approvals has been expressly assigned to us in writing. Work may be delayed or modified where required permissions have not been obtained.
5. Quotes and Pricing
Any quotation provided for services will be subject to the terms, validity period, scope, materials, and assumptions stated in that quotation. Pricing may change where the scope of work changes, additional materials are required, unforeseen site conditions are discovered, or you request additional services. Any material variation to the agreed work should be approved in writing before the additional work is carried out whenever reasonably possible.
6. Payments
Payment terms will be communicated before or during the engagement and may vary depending on the nature and size of the project. Deposits, milestone payments, progress payments, or final balances may be required where specified in the applicable agreement or quotation. You remain responsible for approved charges and completed work in accordance with the agreed payment schedule. Late payments may be subject to reasonable charges where permitted by applicable law.
7. Scheduling and Project Delays
Any proposed start date, completion date, or project duration is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Schedules may be affected by weather, material availability, supplier delays, inspections, permit requirements, unforeseen property conditions, emergencies, or changes requested by the customer. Where a significant delay occurs, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate the circumstances and provide an updated schedule.
8. Changes to Services
Requests to add, remove, or modify work after a project has been agreed may affect the price, materials, and completion schedule. Additional work will generally require approval before it is performed. Changes that affect safety, compliance, structural requirements, or the suitability of the original scope may require further assessment before work can continue.
9. Materials and Customer-Supplied Products
Where materials are supplied as part of our services, we will make reasonable efforts to use materials that meet the agreed specifications. If you provide your own products or materials, you are responsible for ensuring that they are suitable, complete, and compatible with the requested work. We may decline to install materials that are unsafe, defective, unsuitable, or otherwise inappropriate for the intended application.
10. Workmanship and Warranty
Where a written workmanship warranty is provided, its duration and coverage will be determined by the applicable service agreement or warranty documentation. Manufacturer warranties for supplied products may apply separately and may be subject to the manufacturer's own terms. Warranty coverage may not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, accidental damage, third-party work, customer-supplied materials, pre-existing conditions, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
11. Site Safety
We reserve the right to pause or refuse work where the property or working conditions present a significant health or safety risk. This may include unsafe structures, exposed utilities, hazardous materials, restricted access, dangerous animals, or other conditions that could reasonably endanger workers, occupants, or third parties. Work may resume once the relevant safety concerns have been appropriately addressed.
12. Cancellation and Termination
Service appointments or projects may be cancelled or terminated in accordance with the applicable agreement and any rights provided by applicable law. Where a project is terminated after work has commenced, you may remain responsible for completed work, approved materials, specially ordered items, services already performed, and other reasonable costs incurred before termination.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from services will be limited to the remedies and amounts specified in the applicable service agreement. We will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses to the extent such exclusion is permitted by law. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Third-Party Services
Certain projects may involve independent suppliers, contractors, manufacturers, delivery providers, inspection services, or other third parties. Where third-party services are used, their availability, performance, warranties, and terms may be governed by their respective agreements. We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate third-party involvement where it forms part of the agreed scope.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website content, text, photographs, graphics, designs, logos, layouts, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the website for personal and service-related purposes, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit website content without appropriate permission.
16. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues. Website content may be changed, suspended, or removed without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
17. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises concerning services or these terms, the parties should first make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through direct communication and good-faith discussion. Where appropriate, mediation or another mutually agreed dispute-resolution process may be considered before formal legal proceedings.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions will be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the services are provided, unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise. Any mandatory consumer or statutory rights applicable to you remain unaffected by these terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
20. General Provisions
These terms, together with any applicable quotation, service agreement, warranty, or project documentation, form the basis of the relationship between you and the service provider. No provision of these terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, agency, or joint venture unless expressly agreed in writing.
